W Stands for War

And thus we have the reason why the war in Iraq is “worth it,” according to President Bush. And despite speaking before a sea of troops at Fort Bragg, apparently they weren’t as red as the President expected. Except for when he praised the military directly, they barely applauded at all.

The author of the President’s speech should be added to everyone’s list of great fantasy writers. The text carefully wove some of the greatest myths of our day into a tapestry of jingoism and bravado.

But I must admit, I am disappointed by your lack of vision when it comes to leveraging your list for building a true progressive movement in this country… a progressive movement that can elect progressive presidents.
