The Brain Can Dance
I just coudn’t resist putting this video up here. When MC Rove hit the stage at the 2007 Radio/Television Correspondents’ Association Dinner. It reminded me of the time I had the Reverend Jerry Falwell and DJ Lil G (of Philadelphia) on the couch for an interview on the DJ’s Roundtable, a program broadcast on Media Bureau Networks, at the 2000 Republican National Convention. During the interview, Juxtapositron was spinning trip-hop in the background, or as Falwell called it, “youth-oriented music.”
Thus, this startling video is but the latest example of white Republican males using hip-hop and the internet to spread their message. Falwell’s message was that young Americans are too busy with their social lives to vote. Rove’s message is… hey, does anyone know what his message is?
